Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa is designed in harmony with nature

Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa takes advantage of the seaside forest, creates a modern resort in harmony with natural scenery.

Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa (Xuyen Moc, Ba Ria – Vung Tau) is a project of 63 beach villas and a hotel block of more than 250 5-star standard rooms designed by a team of architects from Maps Design (Singapore). In particular, Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Residences includes 41 Garden Villas with natural living space, 10 Sea View Villas with sea view and 10 Beachfront Villas located close to the pristine beach. There are also 2 President Palaces with 5 bedrooms located on a natural hill with outstanding heights throughout the project area.

Honoring the unique beauty of the Ho Tram land

Architect Tan Hock Beng (founder of Maps Design company) assesses that Vietnam has a beautiful coastline and coastal cities have many similarities, which is also a difficult problem for the architectural consultant team in finding unique ideas for building coastal resorts.

As the chief architect of the Hyatt Regency Ho Tram project, Mr. Tan Hock Beng spent more than 6 months searching for a unique design concept that could represent the land of Ho Tram. Ultimately, that idea came from the natural hilly terrain here. The symbol of the project is located near the natural hill, which the architects call the “Forest spa” with the design nestled in natural melaleuca forests, connected to the hotel main hall by a wooden bridge high above.

The architectural group of the project aims to be simple and create a resort space, an authentic second home. All Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Residences villas own private swimming pools and lush green landscape spaces, some dual key villas (two keys) help maximize usability, especially for the Multi-generational family and rental capabilities. Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Residences also has villas with sea fronts up to 24m wide, giving homeowners a spacious sea view, fully capturing the expensive beauty of nature.

The design process is closely coordinated by experts from the design unit, the investor and the operator, all of which have the same orientation of preserving and promoting the inherent beauty of nature at Ho Tram. The harmonious combination of a series of partners helps Hyatt Regency Ho Tram become a unique resort space, where guests and owners can touch the nature in every corner. In addition, the master plan also ensures maximum sea views for all hotel rooms as well as villas.

“The unit design’s challenge is to ensure absolute privacy while maintaining the maximum sea view for project subdivisions. At the same time, together with the landscape design consultant, they I want to make full use of the area to fill with the green areas”, said Mr. Tan Hock Beng.

Inspired by modern North American architecture

Hyatt Regency Ho Tram was developed with the challenge of ensuring the privacy of each villa and easy access to the surrounding landscape areas. This idea is called “secret garden” by Mr. Tan Hock Beng for each villa. Each indoor functional area of the Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Residences project will bring homeowners an unexpected experience, while feeling the breath of the ocean while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of unspoiled nature at Ho Tram.

The resort facilities are concentrated in the core area of the project center, to facilitate access to all villas. If viewed from above, it will cover the eye by the lush green gardens, in which, the facilities are hidden in green patches and arranged at different heights. The project’s internal road system is also intentionally arranged by Maps Design to create a rich experience for both visitors and villa owners.

Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa was inspired by a team of consultants inspired by the California (North American) modern architecture trend in the early 60s inside and outside. Architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra and Rudolph Schindler created this stunning architectural style and it became the architectural icon for the 60s.

“We want to develop a design that has no boundaries between the inner and outer spaces. A true resort project will awaken all senses of guests and owners with exciting experiences from lush green landscape around the hotel and villa area”, Mr. Tan Hock Beng emphasized.

Hyatt Regency Ho Tram Resort & Spa was developed by IFF Holdings, Maps Design architecture (Singapore), PIA (Thailand) interior design, P Landscape (Thailand) landscape design and Coteccons project general contractor. The project covers an area of more than 9 hectares, located in the tourist resort capital Ho Tram (Xuyen Moc, Ba Ria – Vung Tau).
