Ho Chi Minh City Welcomes Employees Back After Tet
More than 95% of employees return to Ho Chi Minh City to work after the Lunar New Year holiday – the data is recorded in the first working day.
Ho Chi Minh City Is Still A Place For Works
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, a quick survey of 1,361 businesses inside and outside industrial zones, in more than 42% of businesses returning to work on the early last Friday, the number of workers returning to the factory reached 95%. Other businesses will start working again today.
In previous years, after the Tet holiday was the peak time of job changing. However, the difficult production situation of some enterprises makes workers want to have stable and long-term jobs. The factories that work early have policies to encourage employees such as giving lucky money, lucky draw, giving gifts at the beginning of the year.
Crowded Streets In First Day Of The Week
This Monday morning, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City suddenly turned cold but the streets were still crowded because most of the emloyees had returned to work. Although the number of vehicles is considered to be crowded, it has not yet led to congestion because there are still a number of workers who have not yet returned.
This is a good sign that the rhythm of life in the largest economic city in Vietnam is returning, preparing for the projects and works to continue to be on schedule this year.
During the last Tet holiday, I’m pretty sure that you and I’ve already had time to rest and gather with relatives and friends after a hard-working year. It’s time to kick off an exciting new year! Wishing you lots of positive energy and good health to start 2023 successfully!
