International Event in Ho Chi Minh City Attracts Over 150,000 Visitors
On December 8th, Ho Chi Minh City held the HOZO International Music Festival 2022 – the biggest cultural event of the year, which has officially returned after 2 years of being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
The event took place at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street (District 1) and Thu Thiem 2 Bridge park (Thu Duc City) with various activities such as Hot Air Balloon Festival, International Music Festival, Cultural Workshop, metaverse virtual space, talent contest… with the participation of leading artists in Vietnam and the world.

Excited With Hot Air Balloon Festival
The 2nd Hot Air Balloon Festival in Ho Chi Minh City has been organized along with HOZO which took place at 6-9 am at Thu Thiem 2 Bridge Park with 20 large and small hot air balloons, free entrance for visitors. This is an activity within the framework of the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week in 2022 with the theme “Bright festival – Unleash discovery”.
On the opening ceremony, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City departments and agencies along with a large number of people, domestic and foreign tourists were present to respond as well as the opportunity to participate in the experience of flying with hot air balloons to enjoy the panoramic city view from above.

Stage Of Top Artists
One of the most attractive contents in the biggest cultural event series in HCMC 2022 is the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival – HOZO 2022. The festival brings together a series of artists from Vietnam and internationally with many top-notch performances. Among them, there are prominent names with diverse music colors of Vbiz such as Tung Duong, Soobin Hoang Son, Dong Nhi, Bui Lan Huong, Bich Phuong, O Sen Ngoc Mai,…
In addition, a group of top international artists performed in Vietnam for the first time, the most notable was the performance of music legend Babyface – owner of 12 Grammy gold statues with “O Sen” Ngoc Mai; the hit makers Smile Johnny Stimson, Alastair Moock, Ricky Kej and other artists from the US, UK, France, Korea, Spain, India… brought a multi-genre, multi-national, and multiethnic music festival.

According to the Organizing Committee, the closing event attracted 150,000 participants at 2 locations with many unique and new activities, creating many exciting experiences and emotions for local residents and visitors. The HOZO 2022 cultural event is considered as one of the unique activities with the model of “Festival in festival”, contributing to improving the quality of super-event tourism for the purpose of promoting image of Ho Chi Minh City with domestic and international tourists at the end of the year.
