It was that drive from Thảo Điền back to Thủ Thiêm, Ho Chi Minh City. Not a long stretch — but the evening light was falling, painting a beautiful picture across the skyline, where the million-dollar towers stand: Bitexco, Empire City, Grand Marina Saigon…
I turned to my partner and asked: "Wow, when will we have enough to own a million-dollar place over there…"
The answer came back without me needing to think too long:
